This year the Kona Coffee Council will be attending a new tradeshow: “Catersource” in Las Vegas, February 28 & 29th. This is a very large trade show that targets caterers, restaurants, and personal chefs. We will be showing focusing on high quality roasted coffee rather than unroasted green beans. This should be of particular interest to estate farms interested in finding new clientele. By representing coffees from several different farms, we wish to increase the value of the show for our members as well as raising the visibility and perception of 100% Kona Coffee.
In past years we have asked for coffee donations to be served at tradeshows. This year we are going to showcase coffee from our farmers who are interested in increasing their sales of roasted coffee. We will be brewing your coffee with professional equipment and presenting it to professional buyers.
Members wishing to have their coffee showcased in our booth need to provide two pounds of roasted, whole bean coffee, along with any literature that they would like to have passed out. We will be preparing a hand out that will highlight each coffee that we are showcasing. Please provide an ad that includes a description of your farm, contact information, logo/label or other relevant information. The ad size will be 2”x 8”. The cost for this showcase is $50.00.
