Previous year's barbecues have been a great success so come and join us, talk story, play Portuguese horse shoes and for those of you who want to go swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking, bring your stuff. All are welcome. $5 per person will help cover the cost of food and soft drinks.
Registration required in order to gain entrance at the Hokulia security hut. Register online before May 3rd or by calling Donna at 443-7112.

Sign up on the Kona Coffee Council website is a must as the gate guard will need the name of the driver if they don’t have your name they won’t let you in. Lunch will be served around 1:00, the cost per person is $5.00. If you would like to bring a pot luck dish the BBQ is free. If you are bringing a dish, please call Donna (443.7112) so she can coordinate the meal. The food provided by the KCC will be Hamburgers, Chicken, salads, and more. We will also provide water & soft drinks. BYOB.

DIRECTIONS TO THE GREENWELL’S FAMILY BEACH PROPERTY:
Al’ii Drive Entrance to Hokul’ia Development:Go past Keauhou Shopping Center to the end of Ali’I Drive to a security gate... Go approximately three miles and turn right at the bypass intersection. Continue towards the beach using the shoreline access signs. (Do not turn left in to the club house drive). Follow pavement until it turns to gravel, look for sign that says ‘KAINALIU KULEANA ACCESS" and go right. Follow road through kiawe trees and dirt road till you come to a pipe gate. At the gate go straight to the Greenwell property.
Haleki’i Entrance to Hokuli’a Development: Haleki’i is in Kealakekua at a major stop light with Tesoro gas station on the makai side of the road. From the security hut go down hill, approximately 2.4 miles following shoreline access signs. (Head toward the beach) once the pavement ends and turns to gravel, follow gravel road to a sign that says "KAINALIU KULEANA ACCESS" and turn right. Follow gravel road through the kiawe trees and dirt road till you come to a pipe gate. Go through the pipe gate, go straight to the Greenwell property.
